Public Service Associate - The East Hampton Public Library seeks a part time Public
Service Associate with a passion for working with the public and great
marketing and technology skills. Responsibilities include assisting
patrons at the circulation desk, answering patron
questions about technology, collection and research and providing
superior customer service. Additional responsibilities include assisting
with the development and management of the Library’s marketing and
communication strategy. Tasks include planning,
developing, designing, and writing social media posts, email
newsletters, flyers, and general promotion. Strong communication,
graphic design, customer service and computer skills essential.
Approximately 15-19 hours
per week at $16.90 per hour. Must be able to work one evening per week and one Saturday every three weeks.
