Part-Time Adult Services Librarian - The
Woodbridge Town Library has an opening for a collaborative,
forward-thinking, tech-savvy Adult Services Librarian. Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to: reference services, collection
development, readers’ advisory, and technology assistance (often to, but
not exclusively, older adults).
An MLS from an ALA-accredited institution is strongly preferred, though
MLS candidates who are near completion of their degree and have
successfully completed reference courses are encouraged to apply. Public
library experience and familiarity with current trends in library
services for adults of all ages is preferred. Knowledge of Sierra and
working in a consortium a plus. Candidates should also have excellent
customer service skills, strong written and verbal communication skills,
and a high comfort level using and instructing others in the use of
current technology. This is a part-time, 26 hours per week position, at
$27.83 / hour. Schedule includes evenings and rotating Saturdays.
