Emerging Technologies Librarian - Otis Library, Norwich, CT

Emerging Technologies Librarian - Otis Library in Norwich, CT is seeking an Emerging Technologies Librarian. This person will be responsible for providing instruction to staff and patrons in basic and advanced computer applications. They will promote awareness of new and emerging technologies to improve the patron experience, library services, and programming. This person will also be responsible for promoting library programs and services on various social media platforms and must be current with the various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess excellent computer literacy, communication and interpersonal skills. This is a 28-hour/week position with some benefits. Hours include two evenings and alternating Saturdays. MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited institution is preferred. Applicants currently pursuing an MLS/MLIS will be considered. Bilingual abilities desirable. The position is available immediately and will remain open until filled.
