Full Time Adult Services Librarian - The
Weston Public Library seeks an energetic, creative, self-motivated and
customer oriented Adult Services Librarian to oversee circulation
services and the provision of services to adults. The responsibilities
for this position include: primary responsibility for circulation
functions in the Library’s ILS and provision of circulation services at
the Information Desk; outreach to residents about Library services and
accounts; reader’s advisory service and assistance in using all print
and digital resources; assistance in adult collection development;
oversight of office supply inventory; oversight of adult volunteer
program. The Adult Services Librarian also acts as Library Director in

Full time, 37.5 hours weekly. Working hours are generally Monday
through Friday from 9:00am-4:30pm, with some flexibility required.
Salary is $68,328 with excellent benefits. Union position.
Minimum qualifications: Masters of Library Science and 3 years of
librarian experience, or equivalent combination of education, work
experience and training required. Excellent customer service skills,
ability to work collegially as a team member, and dedication to
maintaining an awareness of trends in adult library services.
