hrs. per week. The Bridgeport Public Library is seeking a part time
Librarian l. Successful candidate is energetic, creative, team-oriented,
with good oral and written communication skills. Duties include, but
are not limited to creating library programs, instructing library
patrons in information gathering, research skills and digital literacy
skills. Candidates must be available to work nights and weekends and be
able to bend and lift at least 25 pounds. The ability to speak
additional languages (especially Spanish) is a plus.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: * Master’s degree in Library Science from an
ALA-accredited program required. * One or more years of professional
experience in a library setting preferred.
Salary $29.31 per hr.
