Greeter - Ridgefield
Library is seeking a friendly, energetic individual to begin immediate
temporary, part-time employment as Greeter. The Library Greeter
provides a positive welcoming experience to our patrons as they enter
the Ridgefield Library. The Greeter directs patrons to appropriate
public service desks or areas of the Library, provides basic information
about Library programs and services, and provides patrons with accurate
and current information about Library protocols and procedures.
Physical requirements include ability to lift up to 40 pounds and
ability to stand and/or sit continuously up to 4 hours. Previous
library or customer service experience a plus. Pay is $12 per hour with
no additional paid benefits, scheduled up to 19 hours per week,
including some evening and weekend hours. Full job description available here.
