Help Desk Coordinator – Bibliomation, Inc.

Help Desk Coordinator – Bibliomation, Inc. (Waterbury, CT) is Connecticut’s largest library technology consortium consisting of over 75 member libraries. Bibliomation libraries share materials and manage resources using the Evergreen open source integrated library system. Bibliomation is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Help Desk Coordinator. This position reports to the Director of Member Services, working closely with other organizational departments.
     Responsibilities: The Help Desk Coordinator will provide technical support and issue resolution to member libraries through the use of automated ticketing software, phone or email; set-up, test and troubleshoot new system software; make recommendations or modify existing system configurations based on member library needs; prepares and maintains member site specific system settings and requirements, including documentation; conducts member training classes and workshops in the use of system software.
     Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience working with library automation; requires in-depth knowledge of how an ILS functions within the context of day-to-day library operations; experience with Evergreen open source ILS a real plus; record of exceptional customer service and support; experience in customer training; strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently or collaborate in a team environment.
     Position: Full time, 35 hours per week. Salary is commensurate with experience and exceeds CLA minimum. Bibliomation offers a truly exceptional benefits package.
