Youth Services Librarians (Part Time) - The
Stratford Library Association has Youth Services job opportunities,
working in a team environment, developing programs and services for a
variety of age groups. Openings in Children’s and Teen services will
provide opportunities to participate in reference, programming,
community outreach, collection maintenance and technology initiatives.
Strong communication, programming, and knowledge of literature for
youth, along with proficiency with technology applications and a
commitment to public service are required. ALA accredited MLS/MLIS
degree required. Candidates with MLS/MLIS degrees in progress welcome to
apply (pay rate commensurate with degree status). Bilingual
Spanish/English highly desirable. 12-15 hours/week, including daytime,
evening and weekend hours, depending on funding. Pay rate for
successful candidate with MLS/MLIS degree: $28.13 - $39.28 per hour.
