Youth Services Librarian - Jonathan Trumbull Library

Youth Services Librarian - The Jonathan Trumbull Library in Lebanon, CT is looking for a Youth Services Librarian who can sing during story hour, run craft activities, and lead a book discussion; who knows what books excite children, has ideas on how to involve the community, and can collaborate with a team. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a department, run a circulation desk, answer readers' advisory questions, order materials, and other duties as assigned. Good communication skills and a can-do attitude are essential. This is a full-time, union position 32 hours per week $22.46 per hour with full benefits. M.L.S. preferred. Experience working in libraries, bookstores, or schools is a plus. Some evenings and Saturdays required.
