Substitute Librarian positions - The Southington Public Library is seeking individuals for substitute librarian positions at the reference and circulation desk. Candidates must hold a Masters in Library Science. Typical duties include providing professional reference services for children and adults as well as assisting patrons with computers, fax, copier, and printing services and other related duties as needed. This position has a high degree of patron interaction and candidates must be customer service focused. This position is a temporary position to fill in for staff and provide assistance to Southington's Public Library. Hours vary based on need and may vary to both day, evening and Saturdays. Minimal notice may be given. The hourly rate is $18.00/hour. Please apply online.
