Teen Librarian – Burlington Public Library

Teen Librarian – Burlington Public Library. Hours: 19 per week. Salary: $18.22 per hour. The Burlington Public Library currently has an opening for a Teen Librarian and we are looking for a creative and energetic individual to join our team! Duties include, but are not limited to: developing and maintaining the print and non-print collections for middle school and high school students, planning and implementing a range of programs and activities for students in grades 5 to 12, providing reference and Reader’s advisory to patrons, promoting library programs on various social media platforms and completing shifts at the Circulation desk.
     Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and one to three years of experience working with young adults. Master’s degree in Library Science (MLS) preferred. Experience in a library setting, and with Sierra ILS, preferred. Candidates must be familiar with Microsoft Office.
