Information/Reference Assistant, Children's Services - The Waterford Public Library has an immediate opening for a part-time
information/reference assistant in the children's services department.
This is a paraprofessional position and the successful candidate must
have a bachelor's degree and one year of library experience with
children or the equivalent combination of related experience and
training.
Duties include direct customer service at the
children's information desk, reference and readers' advisory, program
planning and presentation, and creating displays and exhibits. Schedule
includes morning and/or afternoon hours Monday - Friday with Saturday
rotation. Schedule is up to 16 hours per week at $22.18/hour.
