Part-Time Technology and Administrative Assistant - Wilton Library seeks a Part-Time Technology and Administrative Assistant
to perform a variety of support duties including: Technology: set up
audio/visual equipment and presentations for library programs and
rentals, along with basic help desk duties and other projects. These
may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office, Gmail, printing,
and scanning. Administrative: Assist with rentals of library space,
including speaking with potential renters, entering rental information
into library calendar, preparing invoices, showing space, and staffing
rental events. Qualifications: Excellent computer and problem solving
skills, including Microsoft Office, Gmail, and calendar software.
Demonstrated attention to detail and willingness to work under the
direction of the Assistant Director of Technology and Technology
personnel; interact well with staff, patrons, volunteers, program
presenters, and renters. Ability to work well under pressure and
maintain good customer service demeanor in a dynamic environment. Must
be able to push a cart weighing about 60 pounds. Part-time hourly
position: Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 am-2 pm; one Saturday (10 am-5 pm)
and one Sunday per month (1-5 pm). Flexibility to cover other hours as
needed.
