Teen Librarian – Burlington Public Library

Teen Librarian – Burlington Public Library. Hours: 19 per week. Salary: $18.22 per hour. The Burlington Public Library has a part-time vacancy for an energetic and creative Teen Librarian. Duties include, but are not limited to: developing and maintaining the print and non-print collections for middle school and high school students, planning and implementing a range of programs and activities for students in grades 5 to 12, providing reference and Reader’s advisory to patrons, promoting library programs on various social media platforms and completing shifts at the Circulation desk.
     Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Library Science (MLS) or Library and Information Science (MLIS) from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited college or university and one to three years of experience working with Young Adults. Experience in a library setting, and with Sierra ILS, preferred. Candidates must be familiar with Microsoft Office.
