Part-Time Library Circulation Staff – Berlin-Peck Memorial Library is
seeking an individual with excellent customer service skills to work at
the circulation desk. This is a 20 hour a week union position.
Required hours include three Saturdays per month from 9:30am - 4pm;
Monday and Tuesday from 4pm-8pm; Friday from 10am-4pm. When not working
Saturday, Monday and Tuesday are 2pm-8pm and Friday is 9am-5pm. The
hourly compensation for this position is $19.17 per hour. The successful
candidate should be able to perform a wide variety of library related
tasks and maintain a professional working relationship with the public
and co-workers. Additionally, candidates should be prepared to work in
both the Adult and Children’s departments. Computer literacy is
necessary and prior experience in a library using Triple I’s Sierra is
preferable.
