Full-Time Temporary Children's Librarian - Berlin-Peck Memorial Library. The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library in Berlin, CT is seeking an enthusiastic and flexible candidate to fill a temporary full time position in the Children's/Teen Departments. Under the supervision of the Head of Children’s & Teen Services, the candidate will plan, publicize, and conduct programs; provide reader’s advisory; assist patrons and perform other duties as related to children and teens. The candidate must have experience working collaboratively with others along with excellent communication skills and a commitment to serving the needs of young library users, their families, and caregivers. Knowledge of current technologies applicable to libraries is essential. This position is 35 hours per week and includes Saturdays and evenings. Salary is $25 per hour, no benefits. Position duration is a minimum of 6 weeks.
