Reference Librarian - Avon Public Library. The Avon Public Library is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, tech-savvy professional to join our Reference team. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with a wide range of responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a sense of humor, a dynamic personality that enjoys interacting with the public, a love of reading, an ease with technology and a commitment to connecting the library to the community. Responsibilities include reference assistance, collection development, reader’s advisory, technology instruction and troubleshooting, program planning and community outreach.
