Adult Services Librarian, Part-time – The Fairfield Public Library in Fairfield, CT is seeking highly professional part-time adult services librarians at both the Main Library and the Fairfield Woods Branch Library. Hours vary, but availability for evenings and weekends is necessary. Duties include: working the information desk providing reference services, reader’s advisory, trouble-shooting patron’s device questions, instruction of database and digital resources and library catalog, as well as other related duties. SirsiDynix Symphony experience is preferred, but not required. MLS Salary: $27.59/hr., no benefits. Strong customer service orientation and MLS required; however, MLS candidates nearing graduation will be considered.
