Wilton Library.
Wilton Library seeks a detail-oriented, computer savvy individual to assist in
scheduling, planning, and preparation for library programs and room rentals up
to 15 hours per week. Duties: Maintain library calendar, including data input,
and reporting. Review calendar entries for missing information and contact
appropriate staff members to complete entries. Craft correspondence with
program presenters, program co-sponsors, and renters as required. Support
senior personnel with planning and implementation of programs and rentals. Assist
in preparing documents required for programs and rentals. Prepare handouts for
programs. Prepare orders of special materials for programs. Load PowerPoint
presentations onto meeting room computers as required. Set up beverage/snack
tables for programs as required. Coordinate staffing for event receptions. Attend
staff meetings as requested. All other duties as may be required. Essential
Computer Skills and Experience: Exceptional organizational skills and project
management. Experience in calendar and scheduling software (LibraryInsight
preferred but not required). Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint). Strong written and interpersonal communications skills. Graphic
design experience a plus. College degree or relevant work experience. Personal
Qualities: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Team player who works well
with others and independently when required. Ability to work evenings and
weekends as needed. Works effectively under pressure. Flexible and responsive
to the needs at hand. Manages multiple projects and competing demands. Demonstrated
integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Reliable and dedicated worker
with good people skills. Ability to push a cart weighing 150 pounds. Ability to
