Children's Programmer - Harwinton Public Library

Children's Programmer - Harwinton Public Library. 27 hours per week. Starting Salary: $16.52 per hour, Tuesday through every other Saturday. QUALIFICATIONS: Require college graduate with semester hours in children's literature and/or experience in children's library services. Must be creative and enthusiastic and have strong rapport with children. Plan and develop programs for children, such as story time, guest speakers, working with school systems and other community organizations. Must have background in reference service and computer use. Job requires the candidate to become an integral part of the library community.
