Library Director

Library Director - The John P. Webster Library of the First Church of Christ, Congregational (United Church of Christ), West Hartford is looking for a dynamic individual to serve as it is next full-time director. The John P. Webster Library (www.jpwlibrary.org) is an independently funded ministry of First Church. Candidates for this position should have an MLS or MLIS from an accredited institution, and current professional library experience. Candidates not having this specific educational and professional experience may be considered. The incumbent is responsible for the development and implementation of a full range of in-church, in-denomination, faith- and community-oriented programs centered on the resources of this church-based library. Supervises staff and volunteers. Works closely with other professional staff and lay leadership of First Church. Competitive professional salary and benefits provided.
