Part Time Young Adult Librarian

The Woodbridge Town Library is seeking an enthusiastic and creative professional who is comfortable using current technologies and excels at outreach and programming for tweens and teens. The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for the development and delivery of services for young adults (grades 6-12), including collection development, program planning, and collaboration with local school and youth organizations. This candidate will also be an integral part of the team introducing a series of maker-related programs to the library.  Qualifications: An MLS from and ALA-accredited program or enrollment in such a program is required.  Excellent customer service and communication skills are required. Public library experience and knowledge of integrated library systems, especially Sierra, are preferred.  Knowledge of and passion for computers and emerging technologies is required. 20 hour per week, including evening and weekend hours.
