Library Assistant - Milford Public Library

Library Assistant - Applications are now being accepted for the position of LIBRARY ASSISTANT in the Milford Public Library. Requirements include: high school graduate; two years’ library experience or completion of the Library Technical System Program; typing skill. Duties involve working at the circulation desk, routine cataloging, handling requests for information, and overseeing work of assigned Library Aides. Test will be given. Hours of work currently include one evening a week and every other Saturday. The position is in Grade 24 with weekly salary limits as follows: Minimum, $632.92; Step 1, 655.45; Step 2, 678.25; Step 3, 700.89; Step 4, 723.77; Maximum, 746.25. Application must be made at the Personnel Department, Parsons Office Complex, on or before February 10, 2012.
