The West Hartford Public Library seeks an experienced copy cataloger to perform cataloging and classifying of print books, focused primarily on juvenile materials. Thorough knowledge of MARC records, OCLC, and DDC is required; familiarity with Sierra or Polaris ILS is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a high volume of work and communicate effectively with library staff regarding various cataloging and classification issues. This is a part-time position that could include nights and weekends and will constitute approximately 15 hours per week.
Starting salary: $27.93/hour
