The Waterford Public Library is searching for a Technical/Department Assistant. This position is full time with excellent benefits. The full position posting is available HERE.
Purpose of Position: To provide professional assistance to library customers in the adult services department. This position is responsible for cataloging and classifying all formats of library materials. The successful candidate will assist in the maintenance of the library’s integrated library system and other library technology and technical and circulation services functions, as well as provide support and back-up to department clerical staff. Technical proficiency and the ability to work independently are essential.
