Qualifications: Must possess or be eligible for CTSDE Certification (062) School Library Media Specialist
Salary Range: $51,730-$111,073 in accordance with the teacher contract between the Board of Education and the Suffield Educators Association.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach students essential skills in research, information literacy, digital citizenship, and ethical technology use.
• Develop and implement engaging library/media lessons using a variety of formats (print, digital, multimedia).
• Manage and maintain a welcoming, well-organized, and resource-rich library environment.
• Foster a love of reading by curating diverse, age-appropriate literature and promoting reading initiatives.
• Effectively collaborate with teachers to support curriculum goals through
instructional partnerships and resource alignment.
• Manage library systems including circulation, collection development, and
budget planning.
• Collaborate with PK-12 Media Specialist team
• Positively engage students and families in the learning process.
