Help Desk Support for Libraries - Bibliomation

Help Desk Support for Libraries - Bibliomation seeks candidate to fill part-time position in help desk support. Bibliomation is a non-profit multi-type library consortium serving 45 public libraries and 24 k-12 schools. Bibliomation libraries use the SirsiDynix Horizon system as their integrated library system. Duties include providing first level telephone help desk support to member libraries for all remote site hardware, ILS application and other software related problems. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot system, client, and network problems with minimal supervision after an initial training period is required. Familiarity with the Windows XP operating system necessary. Familiarity with the Dynix Horizon system desirable. Background in libraries, computers and customer service highly desirable. Willingness to work under pressure, within a flexible organizational structure. Expected to work one workday each week and an average of two weekends per month. Job may require field support at some of our libraries. Current salary range starts at $19.00/hour.
