Library Director - Putnam Public Library

Library Director - The town of Putnam, CT (population approximately 10,000 people), seeks a full-time Library Director. Qualifications include, but are not limited to the following: Education - Bachelor's Degree required (MLS preferred). Proficiency in computer technology/Internet use, as well as a commitment to expansion. Ability to support and supervise a library staff of approximately 10. Previous budgeting experience as well as expertise in grant writing and developing funding opportunities. Demonstrates a willingness to work with the community as well as the state library network system. This position includes a comprehensive benefit package and meets the CLA minimum salary guideline for a position requiring an MLS.
