Library Director - Case Memorial Library,
Orange, CT. The Town of Orange is seeking an enthusiastic professional
with demonstrated leadership skills and a strong patron service
commitment to serve as Library Director. The Director is responsible for
identifying, planning, organizing, executing, and evaluating an
effective program of library service to the community. Requisite
knowledge and skills are essential in the areas of staff development,
budgeting, funding, public relations, community outreach, and overall
library management. The Case Memorial Library serves a community of
approximately 14,000. The successful candidate must have an
ALA-accredited MLS and a minimum of five (5) years of progressively
responsible experience in a public library, including at least two (2)
years in a supervisory capacity. This is a full-time position, 37.5
hours/week; salary is $71,076 with excellent benefits. Some evening
hours and a Friday/Saturday rotation are required. To apply, please send
