Library Project Staff (Temporary) / Library Assistant - The Donohue Group, Inc. (DGI) has full and part-time contract positions available (20-37.5 hours/week) for a university library cataloging/barcoding project in New Haven, CT. Project is scheduled to begin in late August and last approximately 14 months. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday between 9:00a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    Duties: Searching library databases for bibliographic MARC record to match item in hand; affixing barcodes; adding holdings and item records. DGI will provide some training.
     Qualifications: Job requires individual with extreme attention to detail, a willingness to ask questions, and the ability to adapt to changing project specifications. Productivity and accuracy will be monitored and must be maintained. Successful candidates will work well in a team environment, be able to get up to speed quickly and be able to navigate smoothly through various software programs.
      Candidates able to commit to the full project timeline will be given preference. Library school students encouraged to apply. Salary level: Library Assistant, $15.00 per hour.
