Children’s Librarian - The Henry Carter Hull Library of Clinton, CT is looking for a creative, dynamic, and innovative individual to be a full-time children’s librarian at its award-winning library. Candidate should have a comprehensive background in child development and children’s literature, a strong commitment to children’s services, excellent communication skills, and an exceptional attention to detail. Duties include daily programs for children ranging in ages from infancy-12 years, collection development and maintenance of the children’s materials, outreach to local schools and organizations, and supervising a dedicated children’s room staff. Qualifications: A Master's Degree in Library Science from an accredited college or university plus three years’ experience in children’s library service, including one year as a supervisor.
