Manager of Instructional Services Support and Technology - Sacred Heart University,
Fairfield. Reporting to the Director of Digital Library Services, the
Manager of Instructional Services Support and Technology plans and
manages software and applications that support library instruction in a
variety of formats. She or he manages information literacy
instructional support and interaction with learning management systems
and digital publishing. He or she manages support and development of
specialized library information technologies that control the tangible
collections, public and staff scanners and imaging, data and digital
archival storage and retrieval. Working with the Instructional Design
Librarian, the Director of Digital Library Services, and other
colleagues, she or he will maximize the collective impact of varying
library sources and technologies on the experience of faculty and staff
users. She or He actively expands professional knowledge and training,
and is active in professional organizations depending on her or his
needs and interests. Qualifications: BS in Computer Science or a related
field required, MS in Computer Science preferred, and experience with
end-user technology support; familiarity and experience with cloud-based
enterprise applications; ability to work with a variety of end-users
and library staff, manage time and resources with multiple projects, and
strong written and oral communication skills. For further information
