Excellent customer service skills are required as well as current knowledge of children’s and young adult literature. Strong computer and database search skills required. Must be able to empathize with and relate to the needs of children; demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills; and work with great accuracy and attention to detail. Preference will be given to applicants with library experience, particularly those who are already trained in using Innovative Interfaces circulation software.  Qualifications: Two years of college or LTA Certificate. One year’s experience working with children and caregivers. Starting salary: $12.00/hr. No benefits.
