Library Assistant

Edwin O. Smith High School, Storrs, CT - Entry level, 10 month position, 35 hours a week, beginning as soon as possible. Minimum of two years of college and/or library experience preferred, Library Technician/Technology Assistant Certificate preferred. Candidate should have the ability to attend to task details, have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, possess excellent work ethic and self-direction skills. Experience supervising students in high school setting preferred and a familiarity with all components of Microsoft office, Destiny software, Google documents and social media a plus. Candidate should also possess excellent problem solving, trouble-shooting and public service skills.
