Electronic Resources Librarian
The University of Connecticut
one of the nation’s leading public research universities, seeks
applications for the position of Electronic Resources Librarian. Job
Summary: Under the direction of and reporting to the Head of Electronic
Resource Services, this position is responsible for performing a variety
of duties in the acquisitions, licensing, access management, and
analysis of UConn Libraries’ e-resource collections. This position is
also responsible for collaborating with library staff to communicate
e-resource information, evaluate e-resources, and resolve issues related
to e-resource access and management. In conjunction with the Head of
Electronic Resource Services and Electronic Resource Services Unit (ERS)
members, this position works to develop and communicate best practices,
procedures, and strategic directions for UConn Libraries’ e-resources
collections and applies fiscal criteria and guidelines to acquire,
analyze, and manage those collections. This position works
collaboratively within ERS on strategic initiatives, annual planning,
