The
Bethany Library Association seeks a full-time Library Director in our
rural community of 5,575 residents. We are conveniently located just
twenty minutes from New Haven and are easily accessed by Highway 84 or
the Merritt Parkway.
The
ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Library Sciences from
an ALA accredited institution and will have at least three years of
supervisory experience in a library or nonprofit setting.

Therefore, we are seeking a community oriented individual with
demonstrative success in building partnerships and collaborations. This
individual will understand how to use technology, social media and
marketing to connect all users to the library. The ability to create
responsive and innovative programming for all ages is a necessity. The
candidate will also be grounded in the fundamentals of financial
stewardship and nonprofit advocacy.
