A unique management position opportunity exists in prestigious Monmouth County, New Jersey for an experienced, forward thinking, Library Director. The position entails hands on management and financial oversight of a vast library system including multiple County branches and member operations with an operating budget exceeding $15,000,000. As requirements, the candidate must have a Master’s Degree in Library Science; a valid license as a Professional Librarian; substantial management experience in a diverse library setting; a demonstrated ability to lead through innovative management practices; creative problem solving ability; and, a proven track record of success. As preferences, an ideal candidate would also have a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and/or Public Administration.
