Librarian (Part Time) - Meriden Public Library

Librarian (Part Time) - Meriden Public Library seeks two (2) 20 hour/week Librarians who will work in both Adult Reference and Children’s Departments. Applicants must enjoy working with all ages, especially children, and have excellent communication skills, and knowledge of new technologies. Flexible schedule, including some day, night and weekend hours required. MLS from an ALA-accredited school or a Bachelor’s Degree supplemented by graduate level courses which will lead to the Master of Library Science Degree within two years of employment. Current hourly rate begins at $23.22 and increases to $25.76 after a year probation. Benefits: Prorated vacation and sick time, city pension. The City of Meriden is an EOE.
