Computer Technician - New Britain Public Library. Library Associate, full-time position (37.5 hrs/wk). Bachelor’s degree and post-secondary training and/or experience, preferably 3 years in computer equipment and software systems. Strong knowledge of LANS, CD-ROM’s, and file servers particularly in the windows NT environment. Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems. Ability to set up all aspects of a computer including installation of software, hardware and peripheral troubleshooting, etc. Knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft and NT server software.
