Reference Librarian (Substitute) - Westport Library

Reference Librarian (Substitute) - Westport Library. Energetic, forward thinking, service-oriented professional to work part-time in Information Services Department of a fast-paced public library. Must have superior customer service skills and experience working with library patrons of diverse backgrounds and expectations. Responsibilities include: providing individualized reference assistance, assisting users with computers and all manner of electronic devices (including tablets, readers, etc.), offering readers' advisory. Required qualifications include ALA-accredited MLS, knowledge of online and print reference sources, and excellent written and verbal skills. Job is for 19 total hours per week.  Must be available to work Saturday, Sunday and be flexible with weekday scheduling. Salary is $26.50/hr with MLS.
