Circulation Manager - The Wilton Library Association seeks an energetic service-oriented Circulation Manager. The candidate should have excellent computer skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, an attention to detail, and managerial experience. The recently expanded Wilton Library is a dynamic environment serving a town of 18,000 residents, offering a full range of collections, exciting programs, and services for all ages. Responsibilities: Establishes and administers procedures for operation of Circulation Department. Supervises Shelving Supervisor and Circulation Staff in coordination with other supervisors, regarding circulation desk work. Directs teen and adult volunteers. Assists in the interviewing, training, and evaluation of circulation and shelving staff. Qualifications: Candidtates should hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, MLS preferred. Applicants should also exhibit a proven ability to deal with the public, manage a department, organize tasks, and initiate customer service improvements. Salary: This position is full time (may include some evening and weekend work). Medical and dental benefits and a pension plan are included. Salary Range: $38,000-$44,000, depending on experience.
