Part-Time Cataloger - Norwalk Public Library, Technical Services Dept. $24/hour. Qualifications: Master's Degree in Library Science. Ability to operate computers required. Experience desirable, especially familiarity with DDC, MARC, LC subject headings, and OCLC. Spanish or other language ability desirable. Duties: Performs both original and copy cataloging of print and non-print, adult and juvenile materials. Makes cataloging recommendations, prepares statistical reports. May supervise cataloging and bibliographic data entry, and processing of materials. Hours: 19.5 per week.
